Third Annual Art as Worship: A Gallery Exhibition and Benefit

On the evening of Saturday, November 23, 2013, the Fine Arts Ministry hosted the third annual Art as Worship: A Gallery Exhibition and Benefit.  The theme for this year's artwork was RENEWAL, and we hung 24 pieces of original art.

Over 60 people came through our gallery halls that evening, enjoying the art, listening to the guitar music of our friend Clark Nauert, eating and drinking delicious food and wine, and reflecting on the beauty inside, protected from the cold winds blowing outside.  Donations were made to benefit Caritas' holiday food drive.

Thanks go to all of the committee members who prepared and served the food and drink, to everyone who attended, and most especially to the artists who participated.  Their artwork is represented here as best as possible, but our hallways do not always allow for great photography of the artwork.  We were grateful we had the opportunity to display the artwork throughout the Advent and Christmas seasons, allowing many more people to see these creative works in person.

If you have any questions about the artwork or about the fine arts ministry, please contact the Gallery Coordinator.  Several of the pieces of art are still available for purchase.

We will soon be announcing our 2014 theme and dates, so please stay tuned!
But for now, pause here a few minutes and renew yourself with some art.
