2015 Art as Worship Theme Announcement

2015 Art as Worship Theme
ROCK

In the beginning God created (Genesis 1:1). God is creator, God still creates today, and He calls us to be creative. David sings this praise in Psalm 18 —

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.

We honor our creative God with our artistic creations. We invite artists to submit work that contemplates the meanings and resonances of ROCK in scripture, in Christian thought, and in human society.

LIGHT: the fourth annual Art as Worship exhibition

The walls of our gallery space are now bare.  Whether you saw our exhibit in person or might only see it permanently on display through our blog, may it continue to bless you throughout the year ahead.

Our fourth annual Art as Worship: A Gallery Exhibition and Benefit was our largest yet with 26 works of art and six first-time artists.  The theme was LIGHT, which brightened our Advent and Christmas seasons with color and texture.  Several of these pieces are still available for purchase (click on a photo to view it full-screen).  Contact me at lettersalot@gmail.com with any inquiries.
